^{Situated in a piece of rocky forest with some of Zimbabwe’s famous balancing rocks and rock paintings in Epworth in the outskirts of Harare, Domboramwari Art Village is a new art centre founded by some of the country’s renowned artists, the Mutasa brothers Chenjerai and Mambakwedza. Driven by the needy situation to have a place where visual artists could come, stay and work without disturbances by the hectic city life, the Mutasa brothers are solely expanding their infrastructure and have just coordinated their debut three week long national artists’ workshop; closing their first chapter with Zvakazarurwa (Revelations) a show currently running at the National art gallery of Zimbabwe in Harare.}

^{Excited by the natural forestry environment, the invited participants produced inspired works with the wide use of wood and stone in their mixed media work that dwelled within the workshop theme entitled Zvakazarurwa (Revelations). The works by the various artists who are at different levels in their careers revealed high energy and innovation through the manipulation of hard natural materials within the workshop period.}

^{Domboramwari Art Village’s fundamental objective is to expand and stimulate artistic explorations and expressions to benefit both local and international artists. They intend to provide thee conduce meeting place for artists working in different art disciplines, from diverse cultural backgrounds, exploring experimenting and sharing inspiration. Currently they are expanding to host international workshops and residency programs and strengthen links and networks with diverse art communities.}

^{The two brothers themselves have participated extensively in local and international exhibitions, workshops and residences over the several years they have been practicing as professional visual artists’.
